Comancheria

The Comancheria Chapter, NSDAR, was organized April 14, 1973, at Canadian, Texas, by Mrs. John Ramp, Organizing Regent. It was named for The Comancheria, which was the home of the Comanche from the early 1700s until 1875. We meet in the evening the second Tuesday of the month, September through May

Bryan, TX

Come And Take It

Come and Take It Chapter, NSDAR is Bryan/College Station's newest chapter, organized with 13 members on December 7, 2013. 'Come and Take It' was the battle cry for engagements in the American and Texas Revolutions. Our growing group includes 3 family groups of 3 generations of membership and other family groups consisting of mothers, daughters, granddaughters, and sisters. Regular chapter meetings are held quarterly, usually on Saturday mornings in the months of August, October, January, and April. In other months we gather to commemorate Presidents’ and Flag Days and Constitution Week or have field trips or service projects and opportunities.

Corpus Christi

The Corpus Christi Chapter, NSDAR, was officially organized May 27, 1927, and named in honor of our historic city. Meetings are held on the third Friday of the month, September through May.

Coushatti Trace

The Coushatti Trace Chapter, NSDAR, organized on February 6, 1981. It was named for the twenty-five Coushatti Indian families who lived north of the Red River, having migrated from Alabama in 1793. Meetings are held on the second Thursday of the month, September though May.

Cross Timbers

Cross Timbers Chapter, NSDAR, was organized by Peggy Grover Gentry on April 19, 1993. The chapter meets on the third Saturday of every month from September through May at 9:30 a.m.

Daniel Coleman

Daniel Coleman Chapter, NSDAR, organized on December 7, 1925, is an active, enthusiastic chapter of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution and the Texas Society, Daughters of the American Revolution, in Georgetown, Texas, serving Georgetown, Round Rock, and the surrounding area. Meetings are held the second Saturday of the month, August through May.
