Chartered on February 1, 1946, the Aaron Burleson Chapter, NSDAR, is named for Aaron Burleson II, who assisted in establishing American Independence while acting in the capacity of minuteman. Meetings are held on the first Tuesday at 1:30 p.m., September through May.
