Spring Creek chapter participated in The Woodlands 10th annual Earth Day Green Up on March 20, 2021. Teaming up with family, friends and neighbors for a socially-distanced volunteer opportunity targeting litter on pathways, along waterways and in greenbelts. Helping to keep our community beautiful and enjoy the outdoors while bagging litter from streets, pathways and streams.

Seven members participated in this year's socially-distanced event and we look forward to making this an annual event to serve our community. Spring Creek Chapter, NSDAR, is located in The Woodlands, Texas, just north of Houston. Our members participate in activities which promote patriotism, preserve American history, and support educational opportunities for young people. DAR members all over the world perform millions of hours of volunteer service each year honoring veterans, supporting schools, awarding scholarships, preserving historical documents and landmarks, fostering good citizenship and much more.
