In July and August of 2021, members of the San Gabriel Chapter in Cedar Park, Texas, collected donations in support of the Cedar Park Victim Services Division. This division of the Cedar Park Police Department is committed to protecting the rights of and providing services to victims of violent crime. Victim Advocates are on call 24/7 every day of the year and are trained to provide numerous types of resources. The items collected by San Gabriel provide essential supplies for the basic needs of victims of violent crime. These items included: blankets, bottled water, personal hygiene products, toiletries, infant food, and diapers. Donations also included backpacks, crayons, colored pencils, coloring books, and gift cards. Donations were delivered the first week of August and were greatly appreciated by the Victim Services Division.
The San Gabriel Chapter is a young chapter, only just having been organized in October of 2017. The active chapter members meet with this group in Williamson County on the first Sunday of the month.
