DAR woman speaking at awards ceremonySince 1956, the Texas Society Daughters of the American Revolution has honored outstanding men and women at military bases located across the State of Texas.   The Texas Armed Services Awards Program is among the most important programs with which our state society is involved.  In honoring men and women in military service to the United States of America here in Texas we show our unfailing support to those trained and based in Texas.  Each spring the Texas Society presents awards for outstanding instructors as well as students, recognizing the commitment and sacrifice of these dedicated service men and women.
